Over the years, we developed strong relationships throughout the electronics supply chain and successfully supported major OEMs, contract manufacturers, and electronics companies with time-sensitive and difficult-to-source component requirements.
That experience has given us a deep understanding of the challenges manufacturers face when components become obsolete, reach end-of-life, or become subject to allocation and extended lead times.
Today, we bring that experience forward as Precision Component Sourcing with a renewed focus on obsolete, end-of-life, allocated, discontinued, and hard-to-find electronic components. Our industry knowledge and global sourcing relationships allow us to pursue solutions for components that may no longer be readily available through traditional distribution channels.
A different approach to sourcing
One of the key differences in our approach is where we source our components.
Current-production components: franchised distribution
Our primary sourcing channel is franchised distribution—authorized distributors directly affiliated with the component manufacturers. This keeps a strong focus on supply-chain integrity and component traceability.
Obsolete, discontinued, or allocated: the independent market
When a component is no longer available through authorized channels, the sourcing landscape changes. That's where our experience in the independent and open market becomes particularly valuable, and where our established network locates hard-to-find and end-of-life components.
In other words, we don't rely on the open market when authorized supply is available. We turn to it when the component's lifecycle requires it.
Experience when it matters most
We understand that when a critical component is unavailable, the impact can extend far beyond procurement—it can delay production, disrupt schedules, and create significant costs.
Whether you're dealing with an unexpected shortage, an allocated component, an end-of-life announcement, or a part that has already become obsolete, our team combines decades of industry experience with a focused sourcing strategy to help you find a solution.
Our greatest advantage is knowing where to look, who to contact, and how to navigate the supply chain when conventional sourcing options fall short.
When the part is hard to find, we're ready to help find it.
